Lidio Franco-Gutierrez, 59, of Granite Shoals died Jan. 11, 2016

Lidio “Angel” Franco-Gutierrez, 59, of Granite Shoals, Texas, passed away Jan. 11, 2016. He was born to Jesus and Albina (Gutierrez-Herrera) Franco-Ocampo on Aug. 3, 1956, in Miacatlan, Morelos, Mexico.

Angel was employed at the Horseshoe Bay Resort and worked as a maintenance worker at the golf course.

He is survived by his partner and companion, Mary Meza; siblings, Eleuterio, Miguel, Amanda, Theresa, Pedro and Jose Franco-Gutierrez; and nieces and nephews.

Visitation is 1-3 p.m. Jan. 16 at Edgar & Jenkins Family Funeral Home, 109 N. Main St. in Burnet, (512) 756-4444. Burial will follow at a later date in Mexico.
