Theodore Carl Bruns, 38, passed peacefully in his sleep on June 30, 2015, in Cheyenne, Wyoming.
Carl was born April, 6, 1977, in Georgetown, Texas. He moved to Rawlings, Wyoming, at a young age, and that is where he spent most of his youth. He made Cheyenne his home in 1998.
He is survived by his father, Tommy Bruns and family of Burnet, Texas; his mother, Patty Wiant of Cheyenne; three sisters, Marcy Martinez and husband Abel of England, Ruth Keller and husband Charles of Cheyenne, and Tommi VanRisseghem and husband Robert of Cheyenne; grandparents T.C. and Stella Bruns of Johnson City, Texas; and several nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents Charles and Ruth Wiant of Saratoga, Wyoming; and aunt Alta Bruns Patterson of Blue Ridge, Texas.
A graveside service is 10 a.m. Aug. 8 at Lakeland Hills Memorial Cemetery off Park Road 4 in Burnet County with Brother Fred Goff Sr. officiating. In honor of Carl’s love of Hawaiian shirts, friends and family will be wearing them.
