Gary Dennis Turner of Buffalo Hollow Ranch in Llano County near Horseshoe Bay, Texas, died Sept. 15, 2014, at his home after a 10-month fight with colon cancer.

Gary was born Oct. 20, 1948, in Big Spring, Texas, to Clyde Dennis and Ruby Helen Lindley Turner. In 1958, the family moved from Coahoma to Big Spring.  Gary was a member of the 14th and Main Church of Christ. He attended school in Coahoma and later graduated from Big Spring High School in 1967.
