BOERNE — The Marble Falls High School junior varsity football team defeated Boerne High 18-6 on Sept. 11.

After a scoreless first quarter, the Greyhounds struck first on a touchdown with 5:40 left in the half.

The Mustangs answered on the next drive when Armond Pierre scored on a 7-yard run.

Pierre added a 5-yard touchdown run on the opening drive of the second half then scored again on a 23-yard scamper with 5:35 left in the fourth quarter.

Coaches were pleased with the efforts of the Marble Falls defense, noting the Mustangs nabbed two turnovers.
