OBITUARY: Tom Jones, 77, of Burnet County dies June 18, 2014
Tom Jones went to be with his Lord on June 18, 2014. He was born Dec. 2, 1936, in Brownwood, Texas, to John Fred and Cleo Jones.
Tom was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Billy Jack Dahlem; and sisters Fredabel Tatum and Sandra Hodges.
He is survived by his sister Roselene Farr; wife of 59 years, Rosalyn; daughter, Debbie Perry and husband Marc of Burnet County; and son, Steve Jones of Lakeway.
Tom loved his family, including grandchildren, Brandon Beltran, Rachel Jones, Tara Beltran, Jennifer Acuna, Krystina Parker and Amanda Baseflug, and eleven great-grandchildren.
After growing up in Brownwood, he and Rosalyn moved to Arlington and later to Round Rock. He lived out his last years in northern Burnet County.
Tom loved his work as an electrical engineer, his church, music and helping others. May he rest in peace.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Lake Victor Baptist Church.
A memorial service is 11 a.m. June 29 at Lake Victor Baptist Church.
