Dysfunkshun Junkshun will kick off Summer Concert Series in Burnet on June 7

FROM STAFF REPORTS

BURNET — A Dysfunkshun Junkshun concert is not just a show, it’s an experience.

The Austin-area band has become one of the best show bands around. Its mix of rhythm and blues, ’70s music, disco, dance, show bands and even original pieces gets everybody off their seats and up and dancing.

Great music, for sure, great entertainment and a great time is a guarantee.

And Dysfunkshun Junkshun is bringing it all to Burnet on June 7 as they return to kick off the Summer Concert Series at Haley Nelson Park Amphitheater, 301 Garden Trails off Texas 29 East. The Dysfunkshun Junkshun show is free and starts at 7:30 p.m.

Last year, Dysfunkshun Junkshun threw one of the most memorable concerts of the year. If you didn’t get to check them out last year, well, here’s your chance.

The Summer Concert Series includes Granger Smith on June 28 ($10 admission), the Bluegrass Festival featuring Flatt Lonesome Band (free admission, 1-10 p.m.), Kyle Park on Aug. 9 ($10 admission) and Aaron Watson on Sept. 6 ($10 admission).
