Wesley Eugene Holt, 90, of Buchanan Dam passed away May 1, 2014, at his home. He was born in Honey Grove, Texas, to Wesley Lee and Elsie Holt on April 16, 1924.

He loved the Lord, his family and grandchildren, and his church, Hill Country Fellowship. Wes graduated from Texas Tech University with a bachelor’s degree and was a CPA for more than 30 years. He was married to Thelma for 65 years.

Wesley also served in the U.S. Airforce during World War II.

Wesley is survived by his wife, Thelma Holt; son, Phillip Wayne Holt and wife Cindy; and daughter, Beverly Kay Holt, all of Buchanan Dam; granddaughter, Cameran Krystyniak and husband John; grandson, Josh Holt and wife Kendyl; great-grandson, Caden Krystyniak; great-granddaughter, Caleigh Krystyniak; and several cousins, nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Wesley Lee and Elsie Holt; sisters, Alice Clark, Margie Corbin, Ruby Martin and Dorothy Holt; and brother, Vernon Holt.

A service is 2 p.m. May 3 at Hill Country Fellowship officiated by Pastor Rodney McGee. Interment will follow at Lakeland Hills Memorial Park.
