OBITUARY: Lugenia Donop, 95, of Llano dies April 21, 2014
Lugenia Donop, 95, of Llano, Texas, passed away peacefully April 21, 2014. She was born Sept. 6, 1918, to Dan and Siambra (Smith) Stribling in Llano.
Lugenia was a lifetime resident of Llano and a member of Lutie Watkins Memorial United Methodist Church.
She married Gordon Thomas Donop Sr. on Dec. 25, 1937. He preceded her in death March 20, 2007.
Lugenia is survived by son, Gordon Donop Jr. and wife Barbara of Buchanan Dam; granddaughters, Tina and husband Paul Leigh of Houston and Tiffany Brundage of Llano; grandson, Dr. Berrett Donop and wife Shawnna of Austin; and great-granddaughter, Niki Brundage of California.
A graveside service is 2 p.m. April 24 at the Llano City Cemetery with the Rev. Leslie Tomlinson officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Lutie Watkins Memorial United Methodist Church in Llano.
