He owned the Granite Shoals Campground for more than 20 years and touched hundreds of lives as he gave people a helping hand. He worked with Brother Max Copeland in numerous charities and believed in being a public servant.

Survivors include his loving partner of 10 years, Karim MaKnojia of Granite Shoals; niece and nephew-in-law Bonnie and Stephen Gallant of Brooks, Maine; great-niece and great-nephew-in-law Vanessa and Jesse Rodriguez of Corpus Christi; great-niece Krista Jordan of Brooks, Maine; and great-great-nephew Gavin Layne Jordan of Brooks, Maine; great-great-nieces Alejandra Marie and Gabrielle Jae Rodriguez of Corpus Christi; uncle (Brother) Allen Roberts of Lubbock; as well as aunts, uncles, cousins and close friends.

The family would like to say a special “thank you” to Anita Fisk for all of her love and caring that she gave to Mam Maw and Uncle Buddy over the years.

A memorial service is noon April 15 on the grounds of the Granite Shoals Campground with Brother Max Copeland officiating.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Granite Shoals Police Department and the Marble Falls Senior Activity Center.
