BURNET — After earning the most playoff wins since 2003, members of the Burnet High School football team received more individual honors from coaches of District 8-3A.

Senior quarterback Derek Kiser and junior linebacker Kody Hall were given two of the highest honors. Kiser was chosen as the district’s Most Valuable Player, while Hall was named the district’s Defensive Most Valuable Player.

In all, 22 Bulldogs were named to the first or second teams or as a honorable mention.
