OBITUARY: Ruth Jackson, 90, of Meadowlakes dies Aug. 19, 2013

Ruth Jackson, 90, of Meadowlakes was born Nov. 4, 1922, in San Angelo, Texas, to George and Hattie Humphrey. She passed away peacefully Aug. 19, 2013, in Fort Worth at The Harrison at Heritage.

Ruth was a longtime member of First United Methodist Church of Marble Falls and a member of the United Methodist Women.

She is survived by her son, Buzz Jackson; granddaughter, Kelly LaVelle and husband Marc; grandson, Michael Jackson; and five great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Ross Jackson, and brother, Bill Humphrey.

A memorial service is 2 p.m. Aug. 24 at First United Methodist Church of Marble Falls.
