Kenneth B. Smith

Kenneth B. Smith, 72, of Cherokee passed away Jan. 6, 2013, in Llano, Texas.

A funeral service was Jan. 10 at the Baptist Church of Cherokee with Brother Rye Taylor officiating. Interment followed at Cherokee (Hanna) Cemetery.

He was born July 31, 1940, to Cecil Kenneth and Sybil Smith in Blanco, Texas. He married Linda Jane Hall on June 24, 1961, in Burnet, Texas.

Kenneth loved to be outdoors hunting and fishing. He was most proud of the barbecue he cooked.

Surviving Kenneth are his wife Linda Jane Smith; children Brenda Fry and husband David and K.B. Smith and wife Chrystal; grandchildren Hunter Fry, Kayla Fry, Mikey Smith and Blaze Smith; and sister Donna Coe and husband Ray.

Preceding Kenneth in death were his parents Cecil Kenneth Smith and Sybil Smith.

Pallbearers were Evan Milliorn, Dee Milliorn, Maury Milliorn, Dudley Hall, Bud LaCombe and Cody LaCombe.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Cherokee Cemetery, P.O. Box 128, Cherokee, TX 76832.
