Hundred-degree temps for the foreseeable forecast

The Highland Lakes area has seen several consecutive days of triple-digit temperatures, and that is expected to continue according to forecasts from the National Weather Service

Both counties are currently under an NWS heat advisory until Sunday, Aug. 23. Burnet and Llano counties are expected to see high temperatures of 100 degrees or more until at least Wednesday, Aug. 26.

  • Friday, Aug. 21: High 103
  • Saturday, Aug. 22: High 104
  • Sunday, Aug. 23: High 104 
  • Monday, Aug. 24: High 103
  • Tuesday, Aug. 25: High 102
  • Wednesday, Aug. 26: High 102
