The May issue of The Picayune magazine is out now, and it’s in mailboxes around the Highland Lakes. Go behind the scenes with a team of local soccer stars scoring nationally, an architect honing his craft, and a renaissance silversmith carrying on his dad’s passion for the art.

Stroll on over to the Historic Burnet Square and enjoy the newly-revamped sights and reads of the Herman Brown Free Library. Thanks to continued donor support, the library has equipped itself with a new children’s reading room, additional shelving, a genealogy repository, and new printers.
