Kingsland drug bust results in four arrests

Local law enforcement executed a narcotics search warrant on Wednesday, March 4, at a residence in Kingsland, taking four suspects into custody.
According to a media release issued by the Llano County Sheriff’s Office, a coalition of officers and support personnel from the Burnet County Sheriff’s Office, LCSO, and Texas Department of Public Safety conducted the operation early Wednesday morning.
Arrested were:
- Eddie Joe Baker, of Kingsland, charged with manufacture and delivery of a controlled substance, penalty group 1-B
- Tara Baker, of Kingsland, charged with possession of a controlled substance penalty group 1/1-B
- Steven Lee Courtney, of Dripping Springs, charged with possession of drug paraphernalia
- Bobby Lyn Riley, of Kingsland, arrested for an outstanding warrant issued for a failure to appear on a driving with an invalid/suspended license
The media release included the following statement:
“This operation highlights the strong working relationships between our agencies and our shared commitment to combating illegal narcotics in our communities. If you are dealing drugs in Llano County, this is your warning!”
