Donnetta Faye Henderson

Donnetta Faye Henderson, 65, of Llano died Oct. 28, 2010, in San Antonio. She was born in Indianapolis May 4, 1945, to William (Bill) Powell and June (Lott) Powell.
She served in the Army. She married Ed Henderson June 5, 1971, in Hampton, Va. She had been a resident of Llano since 1986, having moved from Hampton. She was a bookkeeper and secretary for many years and retired from Circle C in Llano.
She was a member of the Valley Springs Primitive Baptist Church and the American Legion in Llano. She loved to cook, enjoyed watching her cooking shows on television and was an avid bowler in years past.
In addition to her husband, survivors include daughter Jessica Ann Keese and husband Jason of Llano; father; sisters Becky Wright, Rhonda Powell and Beth Powell, all of Indianapolis, and Vicky Jo Keller and Chriss Lovett, both of Shelbyville, Ind.; brothers Bobby Powell and Billy Powell, both of Indianapolis; grandchildren Christian, Chassidy and Charity Keese, all of Llano; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her mother; a sister; and a brother.
A funeral service is 2 p.m. Nov. 3 at the Waldrope-Hatfield-Hawthorne Funeral Home Chapel, 307 E. Sandstone in Llano, (325) 247-4300 with Elder Larry Housenfluke officiating.
Burial will follow at the Salem Cemetery in Llano County.
Pallbearers include Rick Cox, Donnie Stewart, Scottie Scoggins, Don Shannon, Lyle Costar and Wayne Tribble.
Honorary pallbearers include Jason Keese, Christian Keese, Brian Scoggins, Bill Cotter, Jim Henderson and Morris Henderson.
