Brooke Brand Cogburn
Brooke Brand Cogburn, 40, of Kingsland and formerly of Cleburne, died after a long illness Dec. 22, 2010. Her mother and daughter were at her side.
She was born on Dec. 4, 1970.
Survivors include mother Rebecca R. Brand; daughter Ashley Montgomery and fiancé Luke, and granddaughter Emmee Brooke, all of Kingsland; daughter Hannah and son Watt Cogburn and their dad; stepmother Heather and sister and brother Olive and Townes Cogburn of Weatherford; sister Bridget; nephews B.J. Brand and Scotty Taylor Brown of Keene; brother Bryant Brand, wife Machelle and his children Niki, Tyler and Maci Hamilton; father Jerry Brand and wife Earlene; grandmothers Janelle Doss and Lura Brand, of Cleburne; and husband Johnny Montgomery.
The family extends their appreciation to her hospice nurse Fran and all the Vista Hospice staff, as well as Chris Putnam of Putnam Funeral Home.
A private family service will be held at a later date.
