Ellie M. Williams
Ellie M. Williams, 85, died Dec. 25, 2010. She was born June 25, 1925, in Liberty Hill to James Oval Mason and Cynthia L. Mason.
She married Clarence Bill Williams and they had four children.
She professed her faith in Christ at an early age and was a member of Liberty Hill AME Methodist Church.
Survivors include brother John H. Mason; sons Larry and wife Joyce Williams, and Melvin and wife Mary Williams; daughter Milda and husband Mikkil Pugh; daughter-in-law Thelma V. Williams; grandchildren Shannon Monique, Tamica, Prentice, Christopher Allen, Johnnie Faye, Dominick, Melvin Jr., Mariam, Raynette and Napoleon Tony Jr.; great-grandchildren; great-great-grandchildren; and nieces, nephews and other relatives.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; brothers Benjamin J. Mason and James Mason; sisters Jimmy V. Ross and Bertha Houston; and son Tony V. Williams.
A visitation and service were Dec. 31 at Edgar Funeral Home, 109 N. Main in Burnet, (512) 756-4444 with the Rev. Bryon Miller officiating.
Interment followed in the Miller Cemetery in Leander.
