Margarette Lenora Gardner Hook

Margarette Lenora Gardner Hook, 87, of Marble Falls died Jan. 8, 2011.

She was born April 23, 1923, in Dallas to Walton and Ada Sewell Gardner.

Survivors include her children Foy Hook and wife Judy of Lubbock, Walton Hook and wife Carolyn of Bentonville, Ark., Lenora Tidwell of Katy, Thomas Hook and wife Pam of Searcy, Ark., and Beth Baker and husband Tom of Marble Falls; sister Beth Cook of Searcy, Ark.; grandchildren Shelly Reid and husband Ron, and Laura Stephens, all of Lubbock, Clay Tidwell and wife Ellen of Needville, Todd Hook and wife Holly of Bentonville, Ark., Shannon Scheid of Katy, David Hook and wife Robyn of Springdale, Ark., Kurt Hook and wife Jeri of Canton, Jonna Nobles and husband Heath of Austin, and Brooke Wagner and husband Chris of Kyle; 18 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by husband George F. Hook in 2003.

A visitation is 5-7 p.m. Jan. 11 at Edgar Funeral Home, 2105 U.S. 281 North in Marble Falls, (830) 693-5808.

A funeral service is 10 a.m. Jan. 12 at the Church of Christ, 711 Broadway in Marble Falls with Walton Hook officiating.

Interment follows at Round Mountain Cemetery.
