Verna Cleo Thallman Evans
Verna Cleo Thallman Evans, 95, died Feb. 15, 2011. She was born Sept. 9, 1915, in Mason Creek to Orlando F. and Lillie Eckhart Thallman.
She grew up in Bandera and married Levi Davenport Evans on June 22, 1935. The couple were married for 19 years before having two daughters.
Survivors include daughters Kay and husband Tommy Houy, and Patsy Evans, all of Marble Falls; granddaughter Michele and husband Ben Frank of Burnet; grandson Michael Houy and wife Stacy of Marble Falls; great-grandchildren Haley and Natalie Frank and Andrew Houy; and nephew Richard Thallman and wife Joanne of Dallas.
She was preceded in death by her husband March 2, 1968; parents; sister Llora; and brothers Allie and Roland Thallman.
A private family service will be at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests a donation be made to the American Heart Association.
