Worth L. Hutto, 94, of Burnet died March 4, 2011. He was born in Lake Victor on Jan. 30, 1917, to Lloyd and Berniece Barrett Hutto.

He was a member of the Lake Victor Baptist Church and Woodman of the World, and was a man of many talents. He started ranching when he was young. When war broke out in 1941, he was attending school learning to be a mechanic and decided to work for Consolidated Aircraft in Fort Worth.

He and his wife Ira Jane later owned and operated the Crossroads Implement store for many years. He then worked in construction until his retirement, when he became a full-time grandfather. This job he loved more than all the rest.

Survivors include his son Bill Hutto and wife Christine of Salt Lake City; grandchildren Amanda Williams and Dounia Livingston, both of Salt Lake City, and Will Hutto of Lampasas; great-grandchildren Brooklyn Olson and Jesse Livingston, both of Salt Lake City; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his wife on May 22, 1998.

Visitation is 6-8 p.m. March 8 at Edgar Funeral Home, 109 N. Main St. in Burnet, (512) 756-4444.

A service is 10 a.m. March 9 at the funeral home with Barry Drake officiating. Interment will follow at Cauble Cemetery in Lake Victor.
