Billy Glenn Seale

Billy Glenn Seale, 68, of Sunrise Beach died March 9, 2011, at the Lighthouse in Round Rock. He was born Aug. 3, 1942, in Iraan. He married Sherron “Sherri” Kay Hill on Dec. 22, 1962 in Marble Falls.
He was known by all as “Coach.”
He touched many lives as a football coach, athletic director and administrator. His greatest legacy to his children, grandchildren and athletes was his lesson to always be the best, compete to win and never give up; but if you lose, lose with dignity and good sportsmanship.
He showed unconditional love and pride in his daughters, son-in-laws and granddaughters. He was especially proud of his two son-in-laws, who became the “sons” he always wanted. He taught his “girls” to compete, fish, play games, work hard and to love life.
In retirement he played golf, ranched, fished and watched his granddaughters compete.
Survivors include his wife; daughters Jana Lawrence and husband Lary, and Shelley Dunbar and husband Brian; and granddaughters Lisa Lawrence and Makenzie Dunbar.
A graveside service is 2 p.m. March 12 at the Marble Falls City Cemetery with a celebration reception for family and friends to follow.
Pallbearers include Brian Dunbar, Lary Lawrence, Butch Sayers, Al Ringo, Jerry Stapleton, Greg Stapleton, Curtis Sayers, Craig Lusinger, Paul Marburger, Mike Tankersley and Danny McBride.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
