Lucille Ussery Stanley
Lucille Ussery Stanley, 100, died March 27, 2011, at Eastern Star Home in Oriskany, N.Y. She was born in Marble Falls on Jan. 14, 1911, to Arthur Lee and Winifred Hardin Ussery.
She moved to Amsterdam, N.Y., in 1939, where she resided until moving to Eastern Star Home five years ago. On Sept. 18, 1931, she married John Prince Stanley. He died Aug. 28, 1984. She was a member of the United Presbyterian Church in Amsterdam.
Survivors include cousins Lee Ussery of Marble Falls and Grady Calvert of Dallas; Bonnie Weigandt of Oriskany; and godson Gregg MacNaughton of Fonda, N.Y.
A service will be held at Eastern Star Chapel at a later date. She donated her body to Albany Medical College Anatomical Gift Department. A private burial will be at Hagaman Cemetery.
