Michael Edward Hargis
Michael Edward Hargis, 54, of Pontotoc died April 9, 2011. He was born in Bastrop on Feb. 22, 1957, to Ted and Audrey (Johnson) Hargis. He moved to the area in 1995 from Austin.
Survivors include his son Jason Hargis of Llano; mother Audrey (Hargis) Osborn of Austin; brothers Robert Hargis of Lafayette, La., and James Hargis and wife Bonnie of Plano; stepson Tim Yarbrough; stepbrothers Jeff, Terry and Lance Osborn; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father and brother Gary Hargis.
A service is 10 a.m. April 12 at Waldrope-Hatfield-Hawthorne Funeral Home Chapel, 307 E. Sandstone in Llano, (325) 247-4300, with the Rev. Danny Meegan officiating.
