Doris Cannon
Doris Cannon, 80, of Tow died July 13, 2010. She was born May 19, 1930, in Emporia, Kansas, to Olive (Miller) and Chester Miles.
She married Philip "Bud" Cannon Sept. 8, 1948, in Madison, Kansas. She was a member of the Llano First Christian Church, Llano Culture Club and the Lakeshore Book Club.
In addition to her husband, survivors include sons Craig Cannon and wife Penny of Boerne and Lyle Cannon and wife Paula of Midland; grandchildren Justin, Ashley, Amy, Angela, Meredith and Andrea; great-grandchildren Noah, Kennedy, Jordan, Preston, Parker, Paxton, Lilly and Hadley.
She was preceded in death by parents; brother Edwin Lee Miles; sister Rose Marie Nalley; and niece Kathy Nalley.
Visitation is 5-7 p.m. July 16 at Waldrope-Hatfield-Hawthorne Funeral Home, 307 E. Sandstone in Llano, (325) 247-4300.
A graveside service is 10 a.m. July 17 at Tow Cemetery, followed by a memorial service 11:30 a.m. at Llano First Christian Church, 1105 Oatman St., with the Rev. Jim McCurdy officiating.
