Nola Irene Pryor, 90 and a lifetime resident of Llano, died May 7, 2011. She was born Oct. 25, 1920, to Edna (Wooten) and Marion Chew in Castell.

She married Robert Henry Pryor Feb. 20, 1943, in Brady. He preceded her in death Oct. 21, 1995.

She was a member of the Valley Spring Home Demonstration club for many years.

Survivors include son Stephen Pryor and wife Margaret of Austin; three grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brother Gene Chew; and granddaughter Cristina Pryor.

Visitation is 6 p.m. May 9 at Waldrope-Hatfield-Hawthorne Funeral Home, 307 E. Sandstone in Llano, (325) 247-4300.

A service is  2 p.m. May 10 at the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Rick Cundieff officiating. Burial will follow at the Llano City Cemetery.

Pallbearers include Ronnie Holloway, R.L. O’Neal, Gerald Tuckness, Bill Tuckness, Joe Shaw and Dwight Blaskowsky.

Honorary pallbearers are Glen Pryor, Joe Pryor, John Pryor, Jubal Calvin and Bob Pryor.

Memorials can be given to a charity of choice.
