Molly Denton Yates, 65, died May 15, 2010. She was born in Houston Oct. 16, 1946, to Ashley and Molly Denton.

The family moved many times during her father’s military career. She was raised in Madrid, Spain; Panama; Virginia; and Lincoln, Neb., before returning to Texas to attend and graduate from The University of Texas at Austin.

She followed the family tradition of attending Camp Mystic in Hunt and was a loyal Kiowa.

Over the years, she worked for the University of Texas, Gov. John Connally’s office and Cullen Bank.

After moving to Horseshoe Bay, she opened her own business.

Survivors include her sister Julia "Dottie" Fredeman and husband Henry of Groves;  niece Julia Collins and husband Troy and their son Denton of Lumberton; cousins Jane Wadsworth Mason, Ellen Wadsworth, Rosine Wadsworth Stout, Julia Wadsworth Mason, Hayley Wadsworth Dickson, Jay and Carri Rambin, and Julia and Ashley Hale.

The family thanks Dr. Juliette Madrigal-Dersch for her medical expertise, comfort and constant support.

A graveside service is 2 p.m. May 26 at the Marble Falls City Cemetery, 300 S. Avenue S.
