Shirley Ann Beaudoin of Kingsland passed away July 1, 2025

Shirley Ann Beaudoin, born on June 8, 1945, passed away peacefully at her home in Kingsland, Texas, on July 1, 2025.
Shirley served the special-needs community for over 40 years and was known by many as “Mama Shirley.” She was president and founder of Oak Haven Ministries and, with her many loyal friends and volunteers, started Round Up with Jesus, where she provided meals and fellowship annually for over 150 citizens.
Shirley’s love in life was to help special-needs children and adults feel included, accepted, and productive in the community. Special Olympics and bowling were just two of many programs implemented by Shirley and continue in the Highland Lakes area.
Shirley was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Beaudoin, and son Ben Fowler. She is survived by her children Connie, Lynette, and Roy Fowler.
Shirley was a go-getter. She loved fishing, camping, bowling, church, and, of course, eating good Texas cuisine. She will be missed by so many in our Highland Lakes community.
