Ark partners with Science Mill for free STEM camp

Registration is open for STEM summer camp in July in Marble Falls, co-hosted by Ark of Highland Lakes and the Science Mill. The free, week-long program is open to grades 3-5 and aim to spark an interest in the fields of science, technology, engineering, and math through hands-on activities.

The camp is July 7-11 and July 14-18 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. each day at the Mission Center, 408 Avenue R in Marble Falls. Space is limited.

The program blends fun and learning as kids collaborate to solve exciting challenges in a supportive, Christ-centered environment, according to a media release from Ark of Highland Lakes. Activities will be guided by educators from the Science Mill, a nonprofit, hands-on STEM museum in Johnson City.

“Through these STEM camps, we’re not only sparking interest in science, we’re reminding every child that they are created with purpose, capable of growth, and surrounded by a community that believes in them,” said Judie Jenkins, camp coordinator for Ark of Highland Lakes, in the media release.

While the camp is free to attend, registration is required. Sign up your child at the link.
