‘Steel Magnolias’ tickets on sale March 17; meet the cast
Tickets for the Hill Country Community Theatre production of “Steel Magnolias” are available starting March 17 at noon. Purchase them online at thehcct.org or call the box office at 830-798-8944.
The beloved Southern comedy-drama runs March 28-April 13 at the theater, 4003 FM 2147 West in Cottonwood Shores, with performances at 7:30 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays and 2 p.m. Sundays. An opening night gala includes free food and drinks starting at 6:30 p.m.
ABOUT THE SHOW
Set in a small Louisiana town, “Steel Magnolias” follows a close-knit group of Southern women who gather at Truvy’s beauty salon. They share laughter, love, and strength as they navigate life’s ups and downs. Written by Robert Harling, the play is filled with sharp wit, heartfelt moments, and a powerful testament to friendship and resilience. Harling later wrote the screenplay for the 1989 film.
