PEC scholarships available for students and adults
The Pedernales Electric Cooperative is accepting applications for its 2025 scholarship program now through 11:59 p.m. March 12. Scholarships are available for graduating high school and homeschool seniors and adults seeking to continue their education.
The money can be used for universities, colleges, and technical and trade schools.
Applicants must be PEC members in good standing or high school seniors with a parent or guardian who is a PEC member. The scholarships are funded through unclaimed property returned to the co-op by the state.
“Receiving a scholarship from PEC has been a life-changing gift, helping to lift the financial burden of my education and allowing me to focus wholeheartedly on my studies and personal growth,” said 2024 recipient Kambell Stewart, a Marble Falls High School graduate now attending Texas A&M University.
