Free breakfast with Marble Falls volunteer firefighters Feb. 10
Join members of the Marble Falls Area Volunteer Fire Department on Feb. 10 from 9-11 a.m. for a free community breakfast at the station, 606 Avenue U. The menu includes pancakes, eggs, bacon, sausage, coffee, and juice.
Residents can meet the first responders and find out how to volunteer.
ABOUT MARBLE FALLS AREA VFD
Founded in 1936, the Marble Falls Area Volunteer Fire Department has operated out of its Avenue U station since June 2010.
The department protects roughly 126 square-miles and provides fire service to the city of Meadowlakes, the subdivision of Wilderness Cove on North Wirtz Dam Road, and Burnet County Emergency Services District No. 6.
It also covers the city of Marble Falls’ extraterritorial jurisdiction and offers mutual aid to Bertram, Burnet, Cottonwood Shores, Granite Shoals, Horseshoe Bay, Spicewood, Round Mountain, and North Lake Travis firefighters.
