Lloyd Everhart, 47, passed away Oct. 17, 2023

Lloyd Everhart, 47, passed away on October 17, 2023, in Austin, Texas, from complications of a bone marrow transplant. He is survived by the love of his life, Michelle; and Daughter Taylor, Son Billy, Grandson Sylis, Mother Deborah, Father Billy, Stepmother Sue, Sisters Tammy, Jackie, and Chelsea, Brothers Shawn and Joshua, many nieces and nephews, and extended family.
He was reunited with his Nanny, Papa, Granny Lois, and younger brother Taylor, along with so many other family members and friends.
Lloyd loved his wife and children more than anything in this world. His passion for sports and his children led him to coach and mentor so many of our youth in the community. From girls’ softball to peewee football, Lloyd gave his heart and believed in each child and pushed them to be the best version of themselves on the field — AND off. He loved each and every one of them as if they were his own and would protect them at all costs.
Lloyd was the type of person that would make you feel special on the days you didn’t. He never met a stranger in his life, everyone was drawn to him and loved him. He was always there when you needed him with his smart comments or listening ear. Even if all you needed was that infectious smile or the biggest bear hug, HE ALWAYS GAVE THE BEST HUGS!!!
Lloyd’s presence in our lives and community will be greatly missed. Even though this tragedy has taken him from this Earth, his heart left a beacon of light that has filled us with Joy and Laughter for eternity.
Lloyd’s Celebration of Life will be at The Place Downtown in Kingsland, Texas, on Saturday, November 4, 2023, beginning at 7 p.m.
