Tee off for Camp Peniel campers
Registration is open for the 2023 Camp Peniel fundraising golf tournament on Oct. 21 at Delaware Springs Golf Course, 600 Delaware Springs Blvd. in Burnet. Entry is $75 per person.
Camp Peniel is a Christian retreat and summer camp on roughly 400 acres in Marble Falls off of RR 1431. The camp’s mission is to bring guests “face to face” with God through Christ-centered adventures.
Proceeds go to the Campership Fund, a scholarship program that offers financial assistance to campers in the summer and during retreat season.
Check-in for the tournament is at noon. A shotgun start is 1 p.m. The tournament will field four-person teams, with the top three teams receiving prizes. Other prizes will be handed out for the longest drive, longest putt, and closest stroke to the pin. Snacks and refreshments will be provided at the event.
