Meet the Mustangs on Aug. 10

Show your support for Marble Falls High School sports at Meet the Mustangs on Thursday, Aug. 10, at Max Copeland Gym, 2101 Mustang Drive. The pep rally-style event starts at 7:30 p.m. and introduces the student-athletes playing football, volleyball, cross country, and golf in the fall. Admission is free.
Meet the Mustangs is hosted by the Marble Falls Athletic Booster Club.
“My goal is to make this the big pep rally to kick the season off with the Mustangs,” club President Shannon Roberts said. “It’s a way to support the booster club, who is trying to support all the athletes, and it’s a way to meet new athletes. It’s another way for the community to come out to support.”
The Marble Falls band, cheer squad, Starlettes drill team, and members of the city’s youth football and cheer programs also will be in attendance. The Marble Falls High School tennis team will be unable to attend due to a tournament in Lampasas the same day.
Mustang fans can snack on free hot dogs, chips, cookies, and water thanks to a partnership with the Marble Falls H-E-B. Merchandise, tickets, and booster club memberships will be available for purchase.
Proceeds will go toward funding projects that strengthen Marble Falls athletic programs.
“We gave away a substantial amount of money in the 2022-23 season,” Roberts said. “Our goal this year is to give away even more money than we did last year.”
