Texas Elite Meat is going mobile as the Marble Falls butcher shop prepares to close its doors at 204 Main St. on Friday, Feb. 24, to focus on catering and popup events.
“We definitely appreciate all of our customers and fans,” owner Bert Naumann said. “We want to continue to serve, so we’ll just start going where they are.”
Naumann anticipates making the switch by early March.
“We’ll be able to do burgers and barbecue and steak dinners,” Naumann said. “We’ll be at Save the World (Brewing Co.), Spicewood Vineyards, and any other nice venue that wants to host us.”
In the coming weeks, Texas Elite Meat plans to update its website with a calendar tracking the mobile market’s locations.
“It should make it easy for our customers to find us and for people to book us for special events and parties,” Naumann said.
Naumann invites those interested in purchasing equipment or excess inventory to stop by the store before Feb. 24.
Founded in 2019, the family-owned butcher shop served high-quality cuts of meat along with freshly cooked meals from the grill such as burgers, hot dogs, sausages, and sandwiches.
