Your guide to all that sparkles, shines, and celebrates the season in the Highland Lakes can be found online in the Highland Lakes Christmas Lights Guide at 101HighlandLakes.com. You’ll find where to go for the best lights displays, Santa sightings, parades, and even snow. You can even flip through a digital version of the printed magazine complete with Highland Lakes advertisers.

Highlights include details for five major lights displays:

Both Llano and Burnet are holding snow days and other celebrations to ring in the season, Texas Hill Country style. Marble Falls offers an ice rink in Lakeside Park through Jan. 2.

We even have information on how to stay safe by following Centers for Disease Control and Prevention guidelines this season.

Once you’re all worn out from visiting lights and bumping elbows with Santa, head home, take off that mask, and snuggle up next to your own tree to fill out your Christmas cards. We have the information you need on mailing deadlines and the latest holiday stamps available at your local post office.

Other stories give tips on how to use your mobile phone to take the best lights display pictures, great gifts that reflect our local community, and how to make your own holiday wreaths using the plants found in your own yard.

It’s just a touch of the finger or a click of the mouse away. Merry Christmas!
