Glenda “Pee Wee” McGlothlin passed away Oct. 1, 2017, at the age of 70. She was born to Laura (Bailey) and Earl B. Goble in Llano, Texas, on July 19, 1947. PeeWee lived in Llano for most of her life and was a member of the Cowboy Church.

She was the proud owner of The Waterin’ Hole for many years and loved being around her friends. Pee Wee loved plants of all kinds and her dog, Jewel Marie. She loved the holidays and would dress up and take the kids trick-or-treating.

PeeWee loved being with her family, and she completed the circle.

She is survived by her children, Peggy Irvin and husband Tony of Llano, Robin Glen “Roho” McGlothlin and wife Randi of Vidor, and Bridget Lockhart and husband James of Llano; sisters, Mary Cutler and husband Jerry of Hamilton and Jeannette McPherson and husband Sam of Llano; brother, Earl B. Goble Jr. of Burnet; grandchildren, Casey Irvin, Stormy and wife Jade Irvin, Baylee and Bryce McGlothlin, Dusty and wife Victoria Lockhart, Toby and wife Ashlee Lockhart, and Nana’s special angel, Audrey Lockhart; great-grandchildren, Brylee and Payton Irvin, Wyatt and Walker Lockhart, and soon-to-be born, Harper Lynn Lockhart; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends.

Pee Wee was preceded in death by her parents, Laura and Earl Goble Sr.; niece Tina Sue Arms; and nephew David Earl Logan.

A funeral service is 3 p.m. Oct. 4 at Waldrope-Hatfield-Hawthorne Funeral Home, 307 E. Sandstone in Llano, (325) 247-4300, with Doc Sutton officiating. Interment will follow at Llano City Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers are Dusty Lockhart, Toby Lockhart, Casey Irvin, Stormy Irvin, James Lockhart, Tony Irvin, and Bryce McGlothlin.

Memorial contributions may be given to St. Jude, Shriners, or Llano Special Opportunity.
