Harold William Muller, 85, of Kingsland, Texas, passed away Aug. 15, 2016. He was born to Henry William and Lillian (Reichardt) Muller on Aug. 23, 1930, in Houston.

Mr. Muller proudly served the United States of America in the Air Force, rising to the rank of drill sergeant. After the Air Force, Harold graduated from Texas A&M and became a U.S. Department of Agriculture poultry inspector.

He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed fishing, the Dallas Cowboys and tinkering with cars.

He is survived by his wife, Dorothy of Kingsland; son, Harold “Bill” Muller Jr. of Jacksonville, Florida; daughters, Sandra Stehling and husband Larry of Austin and Cathy Galloway and husband Bobby of Highland Village; stepson, Dan Osborne; stepdaughter, Joyce Rodriguez; grandchildren, Jennifer Hertenberger, Matt Stehling and Becky Stehling; step-grandchildren, John Kizer, Chase and Carson Osborne; great-grandchildren, Noah Hertenberger and Molly Stehling; and sister Dee Flournoy and husband Royce of Houston. Numerous nieces and nephews also survive him.

Harold was preceded in death by his parents and his first wife, Louise.

Visitation and a funeral service was Aug. 19 at Schaetter’s Chapel in Fredricksburg. Interment followed at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Fredericksburg. The Rev. Roxanne Alexander of Victory Church in Marble Falls officiated. A reception was held at Holy Cross Family Center.

Pallbearers were Allan Coon, Daniel Rech, Daniel Osborne and Darryl Kuntschik.
