Blake Odell Lewis-Blackwell, 95, of Tow died Aug. 6, 2016

Blake Odell Lewis-Blackwell was born Jan. 3, 1921, to Thomas Loyed West and Blake Draper West in Lohn, Texas. She passed away in her home in Tow, Texas, on Aug. 6, 2016, at the age of 95 years, seven months and three days.

Odell and Billy Gordon Lewis moved to Kingsland in 1969 and were owners of Bill Lewis Septic Service until 1996.

Odell was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas Loyed and Blake Draper West; spouse, Billy Gordon Lewis Sr.; and sisters Mary Ann West Goheen and Bernadine West Burnett.

She is survived by spouse, Billy Wayne Blackwell of Tow; sister Grace Krischke of Brownwood; children, Sylvia Lewis Palmer and husband Danny, Eva Lewis Gray and husband Eddie and Billy Gordon Lewis Jr. and wife Anna Kaylyn Lewis, all of Kingsland; two stepchildren, Valerie Blackwell of Cedar Park and Steve Blackwell and wife Cindy of Round Rock; 15 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; 19 great-great-grandchildren; and one great-great-great-grandchild.

Visitation is 5-7 p.m. Aug. 12 at Waldrope-Hatfield-Hawthorne Funeral Home, 900 Industrial Blvd. in Kingsland, (325) 388-6767. A funeral service is 1p.m. Aug. 13 at the funeral home with the Rev. Steve Leftwich officiating. A graveside service is 4 p.m. Aug. 13 at Pear Valley Cemetery in Lohn.
