Juanita Kathryn (Callaway) Howe passed away July 12, 2016, in Bluffton, Texas, at the age of 94. She was born Oct. 12, 1921, in Sweetwater, Texas, to Thomas and Georgie Lee Callaway.
She loved fishing, cards and bowling.
Juanita retired from Peoples National Bank in Lampasas.
She is survived by her son, Richard Howe and wife Martha; grandchildren, Paul, Jeff and Thomas Bode, and Terry Howe and Robin Lindell; 11 great-grandchildren; nieces Pam Deinlein, LeNita Allen, Carol Cox, Kathy Gay; and other loving nieces and nephews.
Juanita was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Richard Howe; daughter, Nancy Howe Bode; and brothers and sisters, A.B. Callaway, Gerald Callaway, Marselle Callaway, Clovis Callaway, Marvin Callaway, Bernace Callaway, Emma Lee Allen, Nina Callaway and Sudie Jones.
Visitation is 5-7 p.m. July 14 at Waldrope-Hatfield-Hawthorne Funeral Home, 307 E. Sandstone in Llano, (325) 247-4300. A graveside service is 10 a.m. July 15 at Bluffton Cemetery with Paul Bode officiating.
