SUNRISE BEACH — Authorities are investigating a plane incident that injured a couple when their aircraft tipped over on the airstrip.

The incident happened about 8:30 a.m. June 10 at the Sunrise Beach airstrip, located at Airway and Circle Drive in the Llano County city.

An official on the scene said the plane was on the ground when the nose dipped and the prop caused the plane to flip.

The occupants, believed to be the pilot and his wife from Sunrise Beach, were treated and released at the scene.

More details are pending.

The Texas Department of Public Safety and the FAA are investigating the incident.
