Jimmy Harper, 65, of Kingsland died May 25, 2016
Jimmy “Jim” Harper, 65, of Kingsland, Texas, passed away May 25, 2016. He was born to Thomas and Geraldine (Canion) Harper on Oct. 13, 1950, in Pleasanton, Texas.
Jim loved to be on the water fishing with his brother Billy, cooking and spending time with family, especially as “Pah Pah Jim” or “Pah Pah J” to his grandkids.
He is survived by his wife, Donna of Kingsland; sons, Matthew of New Braunfels and Michael and wife Natalie of Cibolo; stepson, Aaron and wife Kelsey Watts of Mississippi; stepdaughters, Tana and husband Shane, Roi-Ann and husband Trey and Kynda and husband Britton; brothers, Billy and wife Karen of Kingsland, Dean and wife Mary of San Angelo and Tommy and wife Renate of Dallas; sisters, Delores Bauer of San Antonio and Lydia Shearman of San Antonio; and six grandchildren.
Mr. Harper was preceded in death by his brother, Glen, and granddaughter Samantha Harper.
Visitation is 4-6 p.m. May 31 at Putnam Funeral Home, 145 Texas Ave. in Kingsland, (325) 388-0008. A graveside service is 2 p.m. June 1 at Holy Cross Cemetery in San Antonio.
