Experience: I have 27 years’ experience in real estate sales and development and mortgage lending. Along with that comes 20 years’ office management experience and 27 years of customer service background. I am a licensed real estate broker and a licensed mortgage broker. I have years of experience in accounting and budgeting. If elected, I look forward to putting all my experience to work for you as your Llano County tax assessor-collector.

What do you wish to accomplish?

I have built a successful business helping people buy and finance homes. They have entrusted me with their biggest investment. My business has grown from referrals because I treat people fairly and work hard for them, and that is what I will continue to do for the citizens of Llano County. The tax office has interaction with more people than any other office in Llano County, and I will use the business management skills that I have gained from my 27 years in real estate and mortgage lending to run a fair and efficient office.

Why are you the most qualified candidate?

My 27 years of real estate and mortgage lending experience uniquely qualifies me for this office. That along with 20 years of office management experience, customer relation and communication skills developed over the past 27 years will give me the proven fiscal knowledge and responsibility this office will take to run efficiently.

What do you wish to accomplish?

This office is run pretty tight right now, so I will continue to run it by being efficient, effective and, most of all, friendly. Nobody likes taxes, but we all share the responsibility in paying them, so I will make it as pleasurable an experience as it can be by having a friendly and understanding staff.

I have over 17 years with Llano County, know the areas and people of the county and understand how it works “the budget process.”
