William “Bill” Edwards
Family: Married with two adult children
Education: I have completed numerous training courses totaling hundreds of hours in an effort to provide up-to-date law enforcement services to the community.
Experience: I originally sought this position with the intent of serving the community and the citizens of Llano County; 14 years later, I’m still at it. I present various programs and speeches to local groups, churches and schools concerning security, license to carry, basic handgun fundamentals and many other popular topics.
What do you with to accomplish?
I assist all county officials/officers with law enforcement backup and cleanup of junked vehicles and illegal dumpsites, warrant service animal control and other law enforcement functions. You can count on a visit from the constable if you have old junked vehicles, garbage or waste from a home-run business around your residence. If your animals are not contained in your yard and are at large in the neighborhood causing problems, a constable, deputy sheriff or animal control officer will surely visit. I will continue working with other county agencies and officers to locate and enforce all of these violations along with fair and impartial enforcement of state and local laws.
