Isabel M. Gonzales, 84, of Llano died Jan. 19, 2016
Isabel M. Gonzales of Llano, Texas, passed away Jan. 19, 2016, at the age of 84. She was born Aug. 27, 1931, to Andrea (Bara) and Modesto Maldonado in Corpus Christi, Texas.
She was a resident of Llano most of her life and a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church.
She is survived by son, Tony Gonzales Jr. of Llano; daughters, Silvia Reyes of Bertram, Josie Romero and husband Roy of Llano and Lucy Solorzano and husband Arthur of Granite Shoals; brothers Adolph Maldonado and wife Erma of Ruidoso, New Mexico, Jesse Maldonado of Odessa, and Raymond Maldonado and wife Anita of Hobbs, New Mexico; eight grandchildren, Eric, Melissa, Nikki, Silvie, Sophie, Naomi, Monique and Yvonne; 13 great-grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Isabel was preceded in death by husband, Antonio; six sisters; and five brothers.
A rosary is 6 p.m. Jan. 22 at Waldrope-Hatfield-Hawthorne Funeral Home, 307 E. Sandstone in Llano. A funeral Mass is 10 a.m. Jan. 23 at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Llano with Father Melvin Dornak officiating. Burial will follow at Llano City Cemetery.
Pallbearers are Paul Gonzales, Lee Sandoval, Miguel Guzman, Eric Reyes, Ted Reyes III and Gabriel Reyes. Honorary pallbearers are Travis Reyes and Eric Antonio Reyes.
