Barbara Yvonne (Woolley) Klepper, 78, of Kingsland died Jan. 19, 2016
Devoted and loving wife, perfect mother, grandmother and cherished friend, Barbara Yvonne (Woolley) Klepper, 78, passed from this life peacefully at her home in Kingsland, Texas, on Jan. 19, 2016.
Born in Guymon, Oklahoma, on July 31, 1937, Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, James Woolley and Olivia Sandberg; sisters, Pauline Reid and Addielera “Corky” Bain; and brother, Bobby Woolley.
She leaves behind her husband of 56 years, John “Jack” Klepper; son, John D. Klepper and wife Adele; daughter, Kimberly Joyce and husband Michael; grandchildren, Skyler B. Crippen and John N. Klepper; step-grandchildren, Ashley Gifford and Kayla Carter; brother-in-law Stanley Klepper and wife Dorothy; sister-in-law Marilyn Graham and husband Buster; sister-in-law Judith Klepper; and loyal dog, Buster.
Barbara grew up in Texhoma, Oklahoma, and attended Panhandle A&M (Oklahoma Panhandle State University). In 1959, Barbara and Jack married, and after many years of fun and prosperity, they retired to the Highland Lakes of Texas, where they enjoyed life on the shores of the Llano River surrounded by family, friends and wildlife.
Quick-witted and vivacious, Barbara’s laughter and kindness were infectious to those around her. Those who knew Barbara will miss her dearly but are left with the precious gift of having known her.
The family would like to include a special thank you to Dr. Kimberly Russell and the Scott & White Hospice team who enabled Barbara to spend her final earthly days at her beautiful home with her loved ones.
