Ree’s priority in life was her children and, later, her grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. They grew up knowing how loved they are were (and still are). She played many different roles: a wife, a mother and a caregiver.
Ree was the heart and soul of the family, the glue that held us together. She expressed her love in many ways, her love language was big hugs, food from scratch and handmade crafts. She made certain the needs and wants of her family and friends always came first. Everyone in her circle knew they were loved.
The family would like to express their deep appreciation to Pam, Ryan, Darlana and Chuck with Harbor Hospice of Austin and the staff of Bertram Nursing Home for the years of loving care and attention. There are no words to truly express our gratitude.
A funeral service was Dec. 22 with burial following at Burnet City Cemetery. Arrangements by Edgar & Jenkins Family Funeral Home, 109 N. Main St. in Burnet, (512) 756-4444.
