New MFISD superintendent invites community to meet-and-greet

Marble Falls ISD Superintendent Chris Allen

Chris Allen

MARBLE FALLS — Chris Allen, the new Marble Falls Independent School District superintendent, wants to get to know the community. And while that can take a little time, Allen is starting Sept. 4 with an invitation to MFISD parents, community members and anyone else interested to a “meet-and-greet.”

The event is 6-7 p.m. in the cafeteria at Marble Falls High School, 2101 Mustang Drive.

Allen took over the MFISD superintendent’s role in August. He comes to the district from Lake Travis ISD, where he served as deputy superintendent since 2012.

The meet-and-greet is an opportunity for parents and community members to get to know Allen.

Plus, there will be refreshments and cookies.

After the meet-and-greet, Allen is inviting folks to join him at Mustang Stadium for the Marble Falls Mustangs’ home game against San Antonio Jay at 7:30 p.m.
