Killeen Ellison beats Marble Falls on Aug. 25

KILLEEN — The Marble Falls High School volleyball team lost to Killeen Ellison 23-25, 12-25, 12-25 on Aug. 25.

Head coach Casey Schubert said she couldn’t have been more pleased with the first set.

“The first game was great,” she said. “High intensity, lots of movement. (Sisters) Aubree and Baylee Adams dominated at the net.”

That wasn’t the case in the next two sets. Schubert said the team “lost momentum.”

Little mistakes (missed serves, poor passing) hurt us in second and third set,” she said.
